Spring is in the air

With some fantastic weather in February, spring has sprung early this year at Woodland Cottages…

The snowdrops and daffodils are out. We’ve had some beautiful blossom in the trees as the woodland is bursting into life. The lambs in nearby fields are full of the joys of spring. We’re looking forward to the bluebells coming out and other wildflowers as spring continues to unfold.

As well as the wonderful spring beauty here at Woodland Cottages, it’s also a great time of year to visit some of North Devon’s dog friendly gardens. Marwood Hill, Castle Hill, Hartland Abbey, Docton Mill and Tapley Park Gardens are  only a short drive from Woodland Cottages. All of these gardens welcome dogs on leads.

Spring is without a doubt our favourite time of year. With the turning of the seasons, new life and warmer temperatures what’s not to love. The beaches are nice and empty at this time of year and we have had some stunning sunsets.

We are very much looking forward to another season, welcoming our lovely guests and their dogs. We hope to see you soon.
