With a cafe, shop and toilets it has all the facilities you may need.

Northam Burrows Beach

Northam Burrows is a great place to go if you want to escape the crowds.  The vast sandy expanse of Northam means there is more than enough space for a relaxing and peaceful stroll with your pooches. It is also dog friendly year round so no need to worry about restrictions here.

Crow Point Beach

Crow point is another quieter spot, where dogs are welcome throughout the year. There are fantastic views across the Taw/Torridge estuary looking over the water towards Appledore and Instow.

Instow Beach

Instow beach is the closest beach to Woodland Cottages. Tucked in behind Appledore is it often a bit more sheltered than other beaches so is great on a windy day. A nearby town

Croyde Beach

Croyde beach is a little bit smaller than some of the other beaches but nonetheless beautiful. The small town of Croyde lies behind the sand dunes and there are a number of footpaths that lead from the beach and into Croyde.
