The Hunters Inn, Newton Tracey is five minutes from Woodland Cottages. It's very good food, but also very popular so we would advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

The New Inn, Roborough is a village pub with courtyard seating. They serve excellent food, offer a warm welcome and treats for four legged friends.

The Hoops Inn, Horns Cross is on the A39 between Bideford and Clovelly. Dogs are welcome on leads in this lovely country pub which has a beautiful garden.

Pig on the Hill, Westward Ho! has won food awards and even has a doggy menu so you can treat your pooches to lunch.

The Pier House, Westward Ho! has beautiful views overlooking Bideford Bay. Dogs are welcome on leads in the sunset bar and sun terrace.

At Johns in Instow dogs welcome in the cafe but not in shop. You can use the entrance on the left.

1664, Great Torrington is located next to the main carpark in Torrington. Dogs are welcome inside and outside in the garden and they are often given a little treat.

The Puffing Billy, Torrington is located on the Tarka Trail. Dogs are welcome in garden outside.

Watersmeet, Lynmouth is a National Trust cafe with lovely walks alongside the River Lyn.

Mother Meldrums Tea Room, Valley of the Rocks, Lynton is nestled in a stunning location and dogs are welcomed in the garden.

Sandleigh Tea Room and Garden, Baggy Point, Croyde is National Trust cafe (not open in the winter) where dogs welcome in the garden.
